Coronavirus UK: The new COVID-19 shopping rules as retail reopens in June

Customers will be discouraged from touching items while browsing, fitting rooms will be banned, and frequently handled merchandise will be quarantined for 72 hours – these are some of the new rules shops in England will be enforcing as they prepare to reopen from 15 June.

Some shopping centres are planning one-way systems to control traffic, with queues expected outside.
