Another week, another ICO roundup. This week we have a look at three new ICOs in the Pharmaceutical, Video Surveillance, and Marketing sectors.
FarmaTrust: Fighting Counterfeit Drugs
First up this week we have FarmaTrust. FarmaTrust is essentially just a global tracking system for big pharmaceutical companies which provides that extra level of security to all parties involved. Their crowdsale starts on the 15th of February, the whitelist is open and they have a hard cap of $45m with each of their FFT tokens being worth $0.125. There is 600 million of these tokens being offered from a total pool of a billion.
FarmaTrusts aim is to make absolutely sure that counterfeit drugs do not enter the supply chain and to inject a bit of solidity and efficiency into the whole process. There are two key pieces of legislation that support the whole business idea, those are the US FDA, The Drug Supply Chain Security Act and the EU Falsified Medicines Directive (FDM). These legislations will make it a legal obligation for Pharma companies to track, verify, and be held responsible for their products in the near future. Because of this, FarmaTrust is well positioned to provide a product which solves these issues.
Faceter: Monetizing Big Brother for Every User
Faceter is the second ICO that we’re having a look at this week. Faceter’s main pitch is simply to make CCTV more useful. Their product lets cameras join the fog network and move data securely, and on top of that to allow facial recognition for many of the businesses and institutions that they have cameras installed in. They had a pre-ICO on the 1st of February, going all the way to the end of the month. Their main crowdsale is coming up in March in which they will be selling their FACE tokens with a soft cap of $5 Million.
Faceter have worked extensively in the CCTV market and have realized that most cameras set up are pretty much useless, aren’t hooked up to sufficient data storage, and don’t have any data processing implemented into their systems. The team have a solid history, they have a bit of experience developing credit card scanning apps, a successful venture for them. They also already do facial recognition systems on private networks. Faceter wants to take their success and their product, take it from being a private use case only and democratize their product for global use.
Adhive TV: AI-Controlled Influencer Marketing
Adhive ICO’s team have got a long history in marketing and advertising, and they intend to get creative and do things in a new way. Their product is quite well thought out and is sure to impress, it’s a unique offering that has the potential to become a very successful offering. Adhive argues that the massive amount of internet advertising that businesses must engage in is hard to track, its difficult to see just how well your money is spent on sponsored posts and the likes. Their aim is to solve the confusion and hassle around this process and to make it all a lot easier for the customer.
Adhive have already had their presale, it was over in just over an hour which can only mean good things. Their crowdsale starts on the 7th of February and will only be running for a month. They will be selling the ADH token which equates to about $0.10. Just like the other two projects they have gained a good amount of traction and have 10k followers on Telegram. They have really been getting a lot of positive feedback from the community and have a 4.5-star rating on ICObench.
