If the world must achieve primary education by 2030, there is the need to fill the teacher gap of sixty eight million at the primary and secondary school levels.
This formed part of the issues at the 2016 World Teachers’ Day celebration in Abuja with the theme: “valuing teachers, improving on their status”.
