PM under pressure as the coronavirus alert level rises

As the coronavirus alert level across the UK rises from three to four, Prime Minister Boris Johnson is under pressure to increase restrictions.

In a House of Commons statement followed by a TV address to the nation on Tuesday, the Mr Johnson will unveil a range of new measures to tackle the dramatic surge in COVID-19 cases.
