London facing water shortages through leaks (UK) – BBC London News – 6th June 2019

26,000 leaks and London could be facing a water shortage.

We had a leak in the next road before Easter and well after fixed, broken and leaking, fixed again, leaking again and now being fixed, more than another month later. Thames Water had been ‘rapped on the knuckles’ (told off) for the huge amounts of water loss through leaks.

This is what you get when have shareholders who need paying first in some cases.
