Gunners lose yet again as Daniel Podence heaps more misery on Mikel Arteta

ARSENAL’S season has went from bad to worse as Wolves inflicted them to a third consecutive defeat at the Emirates.

The Gunners now sit in 14th spot after ten games played having lost five times in the top-flight so far.

Pedro Neto opened the scoring after 27 minutes as he reacted quickest after Leander Dendoncker’s header cannoned off the bar.

Gabriel then equalised three minutes later after he steered his header beyond Rui Patricio after meeting Willian’s whipped in cross.

But the visitors then restored their lead after Daniel Podence capitalised on Bernd Leno’s parried out save to put Wolves ahead.

And Mikel Arteta will be furious with his side as they missed a host of chances in the second half with skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang yet again disappointing.

With Arsenal to face rivals Tottenham away next weekend, things could get even worse for the North Londoners.
