MANCHESTER UNITED fans are convinced Arne Slot took a dig at them as he trudged down the tunnel at Old Trafford after his Liverpool team lost 3-2.
Fans taking videos near the tunnel have spotted what the Dutchman did with his hands as he made his way off the pitch.
Slot made a six with his fingers, potentially reminding Red Devils fans that Liverpool have won six Champions Leagues – formerly known as the European Cup.
Man United have just three – two Champions Leagues and the European Cup back in 1968.
Man United fans were quick to react in the comments on social media and, unsurprisingly, they did not take it well.
One user wrote: “How many has slot won? Despite breaking transfer records, there’s still nothing to show for it.”
Another posted: “Did he help them win any of them?”
A third commented: “Are you sure it’s that or is it not just him saying where Liverpool are going to finish this season?”
A fourth replied: “Arne Slot telling Manchester United fans how many points they’ve taken from him.”

The fans are not wrong – Slot has played no part in Liverpool’s European glory since he took over in the summer of 2024.
But, he did win the Premier League in his first season in charge at Anfield. Man United have not won England‘s top flight since Sir Alex Ferguson‘s final season back in 2013.
United defeated Liverpool 3-2 thanks to goals from Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Kobbie Mainoo.
With just three games left, United lay in third place a cosy six points ahead of Liverpool with Champions League football secured.
