SHOPPERS have been dealt another blow after a beloved clothing chain shut its town centre store for good.
The shop was popular with parents for its range of children’s clothing, babywear and maternity products aimed at young families.

JoJo Maman Bébé, officially closed its doors in Reading town centre this week and has now completely vacated the site.
A notice left on the door informed shoppers that the branch had permanently closed down.
It read: “The time has come to say goodbye. This store has now closed.”
The message added: “We’d like to thank our incredible team and our many loyal customers who have supported us throughout the years.”
The store boasted a five star rating on Google with customers claiming the store had “good quality kids clothes” and that they were “always greeted by friendly staff”.
Customers were also encouraged to continue shopping at nearby branches in Marlow, Didcot and Farnham, or online through the company’s website.
The closure was spotted on Monday, May 4, with the unit appearing completely stripped out after all stock and furniture had been removed.
Locals expressed disappointment at losing another family-focused retailer from Reading town centre amid continuing pressure on the high street.
Shoppers looking for the nearest JoJo Maman Bebe branches can still visit stores on the High Street in Marlow, Orchard Street in Didcot and The Borough in Farnham.
There is also a JoJo Maman Bebe department located inside the Next store on Crest Road in High Wycombe.
The retail industry is currently battling significant headwinds as shoppers change their habits and costs soar.
Brands have been hit hard by rising costs, inflation, and changing shopping habits, as budget-conscious customers increasingly turn to online platforms like Amazon and Temu.
