Faith No More tease 2027 reunion

Faith No More are alluding to what could be a live comeback next year.

Today, the alt-metal five-piece posted a crowd shot with “2027” text overlay. It would be the first time they perform together onstage since the end of their tour in support of 2015’s Sol Invictus.

They were meant to perform in 2020 after teasing on Instagram, but that was initially postponed due to the pandemic and then canceled indefinitely after vocalist Mike Patton opened up about his mental health during lockdown.

Earlier this year, it seemed there was no comeback after Patton said there was a “sense of closure” following their 2016 dates. Patton will be touring North America this year with his supergroup Tomahawk.
