Kingsley Ehizibue is on the verge of leaving Serie A club Udinese after contract renewal talks reportedly hit a deadlock.
Udinese had hoped to tie the versatile full-back down to a new deal that would keep him at the club until 2028.
However, according to Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb, negotiations have stalled and an agreement now appears increasingly unlikely.
Ehizibue’s current contract is due to expire in just three days, with no significant progress made in discussions between both parties.

The report claims that the player’s salary demands have emerged as one of the major stumbling blocks, preventing the two sides from reaching an agreement.
Unless there is a dramatic breakthrough before the expiration of his contract, the 30-year-old is expected to leave the Friuli-based club as a free agent.
Ehizibue joined Udinese from Bundesliga side FC Köln in the summer of 2022 and has been a regular fixture in the team, thanks to his ability to operate as both a right-back and right wing-back.
A number of clubs across Europe are expected to monitor his situation closely, with the experienced defender set to become an attractive free-agent option if no late agreement is reached with Udinese.
