A MARRIED At First Sight star has shared face snaps bandaged and swollen after undergoing the nose job she claimed she was “always going to get.”
The 30-year-old announced to her 116,000 followers on Instagram earlier this week that she’d had the surgery.
Nelly Patel, from series 10 of the Channel 4 show, has now given fans her first post-surgery up.
She posted a ‘Get Ready With Me’ video, just 48 hours on from going under the knife.
The cosmetic dentist had her locks scrapped back into a bun and was donning a baggy grey t-shirt as she opened up on how she was feeling.
Nelly said: “It’s day three, I’ve not really slept. There’s not really much going on but let me show you what I’m gonna do to get myself nice and fresh and feeling a little bit better.”
She captioned the post: “I’m very tired and have basically been napping on and off all day.
“The swelling and bruising have definitely ramped up over the last 24 hours, but otherwise I’m just taking it easy and letting my body heal.
“Pain today 5/10 – very manageable with over the counter ibuprofen and and Paracetamol.”
In the video, the telly star could be seen brushing her teeth before carefully peeling off the bloody bandage from underneath her nostrils.
She left the one covering the bridge of her nose on as she cleaned her swollen face.
“I’m just gonna do a bit of nasal spray to wash,” said Nelly.
She then sprayed the product – which is one of the most critical post-operation recovery tools surgeons prescribe – up her nose.
It washes away trapped blood, prevents infection, scarring and bacterial growth, according to the NHS.
Nelly had noticeable swelling and bruising under her eyes during the video as she got close to the camera putting on some eyebrow gel.
She said: “I am just being a bit gentle. My nose is leaking again.”
The influencer re-did the dressing across her nostrils and ended the update cuddling her pooch.
Nelly appeared on MAFS UK last year and married groom Steven Springett.
But, things quickly turned sour between the pair and they called time on their romance.
Investment banking manager Steven was caught with and active, verified profile on the dating app Hinge.
Nelly has said she is happily single after her tumultuous experience on the show but is dating again.
