Sam Thompson reveals he’s going under the knife for major transformation

It comes just months after the Made in Chelsea alum, 33, opened up on his “super tough” time recovering from an operation on his vocal chords.

Now the telly star will be back in hospital for a hair transplant.

Sam revealed his major decision on his Staying Relevant podcast with BFF and former Towie star Pete Wicks when the pair were chatting about things worth spending money on.

Sam said: “A hair tranny, worth the money I’d say”.

Pete replied: “How would you know?” as Sam continued: “Because I’m about to have one”.

Pete – who had opened up on the hard launch of his relationship with Olivia Attwood earlier in the pod – added: “Excellent, well you don’t know if it’s worth the money because you haven’t seen the results.

“So I’d suggest we hold back on that just in case you come back looking like a Brillo pad”.

Earlier this year, Sam was back in the medical ward for his vocal chord operation.

At the time, he shared a selfie to Instagram and wrote an emotional message in which he admitted: “I know it sounds crazy but the last three days was super tough.

“I didn’t realise how much I need to talk to get my emotions out and how much I need interaction with people.

“Probably just me being soft and also the adhd I imagine plays a factor but yeah was really quite full on.”

Sam rose to fame appearing on the hit reality show Made in Chelsea.

He was introduced as Louise Thompson’s little brother, before he got tangled up in relationships with exes Tiffany Watson, Sophie Habboo and Zara McDermott.

Nowadays, he is a presenter on Hits radio and has his own podcast.
