Up to 3 million people from Hong Kong will be allowed to live and work in the UK with the introduction of China’s new security law in the territory.
The British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, says Beijing’s move was a flagrant breach of its commitments to safeguard the rights of Hong Kongers who could face life in jail for supporting independence.
