THE US has blitzed Iran with fresh strikes after Donald Trump vowed to “beat the f**ing s**t” out of the regime.
Iran’s bloodthirsty Islamic Guards infuriated Trump by unleashing a surprise volley of ballistic missiles at US bases in the Gulf on Tuesday.
The US president has now retaliated with a bombardment on the embattled regime after pausing tit-for-tat strikes last week to revitalise peace talks.
Announcing the onslaught on X, US Central Command wrote on Wednesday night: “US forces began launching strikes against Iran at 8pm ET today.
“The strikes are a powerful response to yesterday’s attempted Iranian attacks on US forces based in the Middle East.”
American missiles, drones and fighter jets have zeroed in on key Iranian port cities in the second phase of the war as they attempt to wrestle back control of the Strait of Hormuz.

The regime’s pig-headed IRGC reignited the conflict by firing at ships in the key trade route on July 7, a few weeks after agreeing a fragile ceasefire by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU).
After reviewing video of Iran’s unsuccessful Tuesday attacks, Trump fumed: “We’ll be hitting them hard.”
“They’re going to get a beating”, he told Fox News on Wednesday.
The IRGC said its force targeted the US air base and Centcom’s regional headquarters in Jordan with several ballistic missiles.
US forces had just minutes to shoot down the incoming missiles overnight, Trump said, with all successfully intercepted.
But renewed violence from both sides now risks a return to full-blown war.
“Resistance will continue” as long as the US military’s “unlawful and malicious” acts against “our interests” persist, the IRGC warned on Wednesday.
The US president threatened on Monday he would get back to “very strong military action” if negotiations fell through.
On Wednesday Trump confirmed negotiations are ongoing.
“We’re going to let them keep talking,” he said.
Asked how long he was willing to give Tehran to finalise a peace deal, Trump said: “Not much time.”
He said: “Either it goes fast or not at all.”
Earlier this month in Jordan, two US service members were killed in a missile and drone barrage.
The deadly assaults caused Trump to intensify his two week-long blitz of the regime.
Trump’s decision to row back on planned strikes was caused by a diminished stockpile of Patriot antimissile interceptors, according to the New York Times.
It comes after the US and Saudi Arabia launched joint strikes on Iran-backed militant groups in Iraq on Tuesday.
American and Saudi fighter jets took out terrorist logistics and weapons sites during the operation.
